Why did you choose the name "Negative Nation" for your business?
While it may raise some concerns for some people, the term ‘negative’ actually has roots in the classic films of the past, where images were captured on photographic film. The film produced a negative image, which was then developed into a positive print. Additionally, the name represents our unique perspective on the world – we see beauty in unexpected places and aim to capture it in a way that brings it to life.”
How far do you travel for your services?
I am based in Arcadia, CA and offer my services within a radius of 60 miles to the surrounding areas. However, depending on the project and availability, I am willing to travel further to cover events within all of California and even beyond.
How would you describe your photography style?
I endeavor to capture photographs that evoke emotions and ignite imagination by utilizing elements such as mood, expression, and composition in harmony with the surrounding.
What are your rates?
Please refer to my Pricing page for starting package rates. It’s important to note that these are starting guidelines, and I work with each client individually to create a custom package that meets their specific needs and budget.
How do you dress for the event?
As a professional photographer, I dress appropriately for the occasion and can accommodate the dress code of my clients. Typically, I wear a dress shirt and pants that allow me to move freely and capture the best shots while blending in with the group.
How do you work the event?
I strive to photograph my clients in the best lighting possible to create beautiful images. I also like to capture candid and in-the-moment scenarios, which sometimes require me to get up close and personal. However, I always aim to be as unobtrusive as possible, and the level of involvement depends on my client’s preferences.

I bring both quality and passion to every project, with the goal of making your experience as hassle-free and enjoyable as possible. Ultimately, my aim is to capture your special day in a way that creates lasting memories for you to cherish.
DO YOU INCORPORATE FLASH AND STROBE LIGHTING IN YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY?
Yes, I use flashes and strobes strategically to complement and enhance the natural light and scenes. The key is to find the right angles and balance to create stunning and natural-looking photos.
WHERE DO YOU STORE PHOTOS AND ALBUMS?
I use Google Photos as my primary storage platform, but not exclusively. I create private albums for clients that can be shared with their family and friends for viewing and downloading.
DO YOU PROVIDE ALBUM COVERS?
Yes, I provide album covers. I use Google Photos as my main platform, and it has the option to print photos and create album covers. During the consultation, we can discuss the designs. This includes using alternative platforms as well.
